I like FoodI like all kinds of food, but I find that being mainly raw gives me the energy, mental and emotional clarity, and self-image I find most satisfying. But don't get me wrong, I will cut you if you interrupt my Nutella binge.
The way I see it, do what your body tells you is right. Vegetarianism is not for everyone. Meat and potatoes is not for everyone. I hate peas. I mean HATE peas. I smell them, and I want to burn the house down. Sometimes vegetable juice makes you have the runs. Mayyybe don't drink it so often. It's potent stuff. I, however, am a powerhouse on a 3-day juice fast (or juice feast depending on how you do it). Anyway, I like raw food. A lot. I find it creatively stimulating to make and delicious in taste. If I post about fewds, I try to make it newbie friendly because I'd like to coax you to the dark side. Ask any of my friends their testimonials. Swear. |
Raw Food Posts/RecipesMy favorite websites/blogs:Rawmazing - Number one. This woman is the epitome of my raw food inspiration. She does professional food photography too, so even when the recipes seem "weird" (they never do to me, but you might find it hard to accept that avocado pie is delicious) all you need to do is look at her pictures and you drool uncontrollably. I'm sorry for any keyboards that die because you drooled on them too hard. Be warned.
Raw Judita - Gahhh I'm so smitten! Her first book took the raw community by storm. She's beautiful, honest, her recipes rock, and the photography is amazing! Her Instagram and blog are fun to follow and I'm very much looking forward to her newest book that should be coming out soon!! Averie Cooks - Blegh. Honestly, I'm very disappointed and unimpressed with how her blog turned over the last few months. She used to be heavy hitting in the yoga and veggie department but now it seems she just has SAD* recipes for unhealthy desserts. However, check out her recipe page for raw food goodness, thank the empty voids of space it's archived in there because I can't live without her raw cookie dough recipe - it's the best I've had. Google Search - Seriously, just think of something in the SAD* diet, Google it with the words Raw Food Recipe or something in front of it, and GO. That's all I do. *SAD = Standard American Diet
