Travel Plans (nearish-future)
Alaska (Cruise) - Fall 2013The sun spot cycle is beginning to hit its peak and stay up there throughout 2013 and 2014. Trying to get as many friends and family to plan a 7-10 day cruise adventure up as north as possible to witness some great Northern Lights phenomena. I hear Alaskan Cruises are pretty sweet by themselves, but let's go when we will be sure to see something breathtaking!! Message me if you're interested in tagging along!! I would like to start looking into tickets as soon as I'm back from Africa...
Euro Invasion - Spring or Fall 2014I would like to plan a trip with my closest friends and allies to backpack Europe for about 3 months. I understand not a WHOLE lot of people can do that long of a trip because of life and whatnot, but whoever can come for HOWEVER long needs to make it happen. I would like to show Steve a lot of France and Germany, and I know Thomas and Lyle are itching for some fun Euro adventures. Erin would really like to see some beautiful castles, and I want to hang out in my favorite place, drink with old friends, and have a good time backpacking, making new friends, and hopefully taking some smashing good photos. My plans are either from March thru May/June, or from August/September thru November. OFF season basically, but with a variety of weather to deal with. Whoever is up for a few weeks here or there (or the whole 3 awesome months) let me know! We have plenty of time to save money and plan!
Peru - Summer 2014Not quite sure how this will fit in with Euro Invasion. I think I have to pick one or the other, but we'll see what happens. This trip involves rock climbing mostly. For sure Jake and his friends are going. I would love to go and anyone is invited (of course)...
California Tandem Bike Tour - Summer (?)Jake and I have been talking about bike touring... I've always wanted to bike down California, and Jake just likes biking that much. We thought we'd make it more spectacular by doing it tandem. So we're having fun working out the details during our Africa travels. Keep an eye out for updates.
